US China Christian Institute (USCCI) is a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization whose mission is to serve the needy in China and other parts of the world. We would like to tell you about our upcoming mission trip to China. Our group of 33 volunteers will be in China from June 10-24, 2011. We will be serving the folks in
Zhongshon and Bichuan. In Zhongshon, in addition to having our medical and dental clinics, we will be visiting an elementary school. There we will hand out toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, Easy Reader books in English, stickers, children's magazines, and school supplies. In Bichaun, we will serve adults and children affected by the devastating 2008 earthquake in this area. Also part of the group will continue on to Beijing to visit the Phillip Hayden Foundation's Shepherd's Village Orphanage. Here there are kids with various physical and developmental disabilities. This Foundation also arranges desperately needed surgeries and adoptions.
We appreciated those of you who donated last year for our trip to Vietnam. What a blessing it was to see the smiling faces of the folks there! They really appreciated it. If you would like to help for this trip please see below:

Surgical supplies (the surgeon in Bichuan in charge of the clinic there needs supplies - suture sets, suture materials (absorbables, chromics, prolenes, nylons 3,4,5,6,7) , scalpels, injection needles 22 and 25 gauge 1 1/2 " long, cottan swab poles, 2 by 2 and 4 by 4 gauze pads, sterile gloves 7 1/2 and 8 sizes, and silk tape for dressing changes
6. Other dental supplies and adult and pediatric medicines (antibiotics, inhalers, steroid creams, etc) - please contact us for a more detailed list of dental supplies
